What an I doing here?
I always seem to be late to the party, now that EVRYONE has a Substack it’s time for me to jump on the bandwagon.
I have often wanted to do some long form writing and I am often told I am a good storyteller but have never had the discipline to take the plunge to record some of my thoughts and stories. I just want a place that will give me some structure where I can write some of my stories and opinions. Substack may be that place. I have the goal and intent to write something in long form here once a week.
What will I write about?
Travel, family, culture, some political opinions and my life with my husband and two dogs. We will be embarking on a new adventure soon and for the first time since I was 13, I won’t be working. I want to take the time given to me to write, learn Spanish, work on some of my photography and other artistic outlets.
Like everyone, I think I have had an interesting yet challenging life. One thing that has been a constant thread throughout my life is relationship, or lack thereof, with my father. It is a crazy story with a huge twist at the end.
